GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF EVANGELISM AND PARTNERSHIP- “Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the very close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).” (Mathew 28:18-20

TO ALL: PLEASE CONSIDER FOR A MOMENT THE COMMAND OF JESUS:

Please allow me over the next several days to open up the heart and divinely commissioned purpose and future of Wally Ninneman Ministries. I know at this point some are already saying, “Oh no, here comes an appeal for money-I recognize the sound of this already.” But, this is so much more. I promise that if you stay with me on this, you will see what I am saying.

Over the past several weeks, we have become keenly and intensely aware of the struggle for the lives of men and women. Of course, we all already know this at some level, but I am saying that God has put a burning in our hearts to renew ourselves afresh to minister to a sick and dying world. By the world, I mean right outside our front door, to our fellow Americans and the utter most parts of the earth.

In light of this renewed urgency that God has given us His mantle, we have taken the following steps.

• We have begun a program of intense intercessory prayer for people.
• We have committed our total lives, assets, and very being to ministering as God directs to the urgent spiritual and physical needs in the US and around the world.
• We left our employment in Glen Rose last week to whole heartedly and without reservation pursue prayer, the study of God’s Word and to minister to people wherever we are sent.

Not surprisingly, immediately doors began to open. In addition to the wonderful daily opportunities to minister to God’s people on a personal basis, in the last few days nursing home and prison ministry opportunities just presented themselves.

Also, on a world basis we have made the following commitments:

We are going to minister in Cuba for the month of September and then to East Africa for the month of November. In between times, we will be ministering in the United States.

Often times, people will say, “why do you go to Cuba and Africa when there is so much need right here?” Some even say that the people here in our own country are used just as a means to go overseas. Are the people overseas more important than the people right here? NO! Our people here and the people overseas are equally valued by God and equally lost without God. They both need the truth, power, grace, love and mercy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! If the Body of Christ of which you and I are apart of, focuses only on one or the other group, we will ultimately be disobedient to Jesus’ command to spread the Gospel of which He is the very center and heart of. We should neither include only some nor exclude others. According to the very command of Jesus, it is not a question of either or, but of both/and!

Here is question for each one of us to consider. What if we all got radically carried away in taking the Gospel to the people in our communities and to the nations?

Tomorrow, I want to outline the phases of our new radical approach to “SETTING THE CAPTIVES FREE.” Today I will leave you with the words of Jesus in Mark 16:14-20.

“Afterward He appeared to the Eleven [apostles themselves] as they reclined at table; and He reproved and reproached them for their unbelief (their lack of faith) and their hardness of heart, because they had refused to believe those who had seen Him and looked at Him attentively after He had risen from death. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race]. He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned. And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.” So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied it. Amen (so be it).”

We will pick up here tomorrow. I invite you to stay with us and go on this new journey together. Remember the words of James Elliot, a missionary who laid down his life serving God in South America.

“IT IS NO FOOL THAT GIVES WHAT HE CANNOT KEEP TO GAIN WHAT HE CAN NOT LOSE.”

WE LOVE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS- WALLY & JAN

God’s Promise For You Today: YOU WILL HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH: “Give, and gifts will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into the pouch formed by the bosom of your robe and used as a bag. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38)
