GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF COMMUNION: “And Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; “ (Genesis 5:24)
TO ALL: LET EACH OF US PURPOSE EARNESTLY TO WALK WITH OUR MIGHTY AND LIVING GOD:
“For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)
The very first thing that we need to understand is that the word of God is true and full of power. It is obeying it that will bring us into a place of great manifestation of the fullness of the Kingdom of God. Many times we suffer defeat, anxiety, frustration, sickness, lack, etc.. simply because we are casual or disobedient to what God says to us. Our religious thinking and manmade doctrines often are greater obstacles to fully realizing the power of God’s promises in our lives than Satan himself. If God said it, we should believe it, trust it, think it, say it and do it. NO BUTS! Excuse me; one but…BUT GOD!!!
Enoch walked with God. Do you and I walk with God? Sometimes-that’s what trips us up. Enoch was in habitual fellowship!! That’s what you and I need to shoot for. Read this verse in context. We see that Enoch walked in strict compliance with God’s will. The end result of this walk, this habitual fellowship is recorded in Hebrews 11:5. “For even before he was taken to heaven, he received testimony [still on record] that he had pleased and been satisfactory to God.”
It is in this place of habitual fellowship that we will realize all of the promise of God. It is in this place that we will find rest for our souls, the very life of God. It is in this place that His words become ours, His breath becomes ours, His heartbeat becomes ours and His way of doing things becomes ours!
WE LOVE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS- WALLY & JAN
TREASURES OF WALKING WITH GOD: “O GOD,YOU ARE MY GOD, EARNESTLY I SEEK YOU.” (Psalm 63:1) It is only when I am wholly surrendered to the Spirit that I will be able to live according to God’s will.
