GOD’S LIVING COVENANT-FROM HIS HEART TO OUR HEART

GLORY TO GLORY
January 16, 2012
GOD’S LIVING COVENANT-FROM HIS HEART TO OUR HEART: “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts.” (Psalm 139:23) _________________________________________________________________________
TO ALL WHO WOULD EARNESTLY SURRENDER THEIR VERY HEARTS TO THE FATHER:
We love you today! We often error in considering ourselves and our circumstances. Instead consider Jesus and our identification with Him. We are no longer what we were. We are the very righteousness of Him who died for us and took our place. To many, these are just more Christian words and slogans which are repeated in empty and powerless monotones. But to those who receive them in heart, they are the very life of God in us, on us and through us.

Consider Philippians 2:13 with me. “Not in your own strength for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.”

Don’t look at yourself the way you used to be, look at your self the way God sees you now. Consider what Jesus did for you and what is yours because of His work at the cross. Your old self was crucified with Christ and your new self arose with Him!

Yes, you can choose to stay where you were. But you can also choose to live life as the new creature that you are. Christ has traded everything that you were for everything that He is! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The choice to live the life of Jesus starts with the heart. The heart is the very center of your thoughts, words and actions. Look at what the angel told Daniel in Daniel 10:12. “Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.”

Our hearts are the key to living a victorious life in Jesus. Out of our hearts come our thoughts which produce our actions and words. The angel told Daniel that he had come because of his words. Jesus said, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” In Mark 11 He said that we will have what we believe and then say.

This is not a teaching on our words today, but rather one on our hearts. Mine still needs some work. I am not anywhere where I want to be yet with my heart-relationship with God, but I am earnestly working on it. I have asked the Holy Spirit to help me.
How about you? Are you where you want to be? What is the fruit that you see from your heart and words? Sometimes even as I speak, as I hear my words, they are like a sword in my heart. I need a new heart so that I may walk like He walked.

Consider the following two songs as our prayer today.

1. Search me, O God, and know my heart today,
Try me, O Savior, know my thoughts, I pray;
See if there be some wicked way in me;
Cleanse me from every sin, and set me free.
2. I praise Thee, Lord, for cleansing me from sin;
Fulfill Thy word and make me pure within;
Fill me with fire, where once I burned with shame;
Grant my desire to magnify Thy name.
3. Lord, take my life, and make it wholly Thine;
Fill my poor heart with Thy great love divine;
Take all my will, my passion, self and pride;
I now surrender, Lord, in me abide.
4. O Holy Ghost, revival comes from Thee;
Send a revival, start the work in me;
Thy Word declares Thou wilt supply our need;
For blessings now, O Lord, I humbly plead.

Change My Heart Oh God

Change my heart oh God
Make it ever true
Change my heart oh God
May I be like You

Change my heart oh God
Make it ever true
Change my heart oh God
May I be like You

You are the potter
I am the clay
Mold me and make me
This is what I pray

Change my heart oh God
Make it ever true
Change my heart oh God
May I be like You

WE LOVE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS- WALLY & JAN

God’s Promise For You Today: GOD’S FAVOR IS YOURS TODAY!: “For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift.” (John 1:16)

GOD’S LIVING COVENANT-LIFE IN FULLNESS

GLORY TO GLORY
January 12, 2012

GOD’S LIVING COVENANT-LIFE IN FULLNESS: “That you may really come to know practically, through experience for yourselves the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge without experience; that you may be filled through all your being unto all the fullness of God, may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself!”
(Ephesians 3:19)
_________________________________________________________________________
TO ALL WHO WOULD RECEIVE AND LIVE IN THE FULLNESS OF GOD:

Greetings and love to you in the Name of Jesus. As you seek Him, you will experience His grace, love, mercy and healing power. Be healed today in the Name of Jesus!

Many people ask and strive to seek God’s will for their lives while ignoring that the core of God’s will for our lives is revealed in His Word. Many have been led to believe that God’s will for each of us is some mystical spiritual mystery, only revealed to us if we live a certain way or beg Him to reveal it to us. Consequently, many of us never fulfill God’s highest purpose for our lives. Instead we spend a lifetime searching for it and often stumbling around like a person walking in a very dark place. Jesus Himself said, “But if anyone walks about in the night, he does stumble, because there is no light in him [the light is lacking to him].”

I have great and glorious news for you and the whole world. “But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people. For to you is born this day in the town of David a Savior, Who is Christ (the Messiah) the Lord!”

Wait a minute, is this a Christmas message? No it is the truth of our glorious salvation and deliverance from the power of this world which was in the heart of God, even before the world was formed, was manifested with the worldly birth of Jesus and was totally completed with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.
It is indeed the Gospel-The Good News!

Now notice what the angel proclaimed to all mankind (you and me and everybody).
This good news and joy to all of us!!!!!!!!!!

Now look at God’s will for you and me and everybody. (The angel said to ALL people) First, He wants us to have first hand practical experience of the love of Christ. The Greek word used here is “ginosko”. It simply means to know by observation and experience. Jesus is interested and concerned about every area of your physical life as well as your spiritual condition.

Next, we read it is God’s will that you may be filled through all your being unto all the fullness of God. Who is God? What is God? What are His limits? What are His characteristics? Whatever the answers are to these questions, He wants you and me and everybody to be filled with His fullness! Why do we set our sights so low in life when it is His will that we be filled with His very being?

Further, we read that it is His will that we be filled with the richest measure of His divine presence. The reality of this should make us leap for joy. The truth is that it is possible to be filled with the fullness of God and the richest measure of His divine presence. If it were not so, He would not have said it!

The verse concludes with a glorious insight into the very heart of the Father’s will for each of us. Read it as if it was written directly to you because it is. He wants us to “become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself!” Imagine what God wills for us if we can only rise up to believe it instead of what the world or even our own mind tells us! Think about it. Meditate on what this revelation of God’s will to you and for you means for you.

There are people who have lost interest and hope in life and are filled with despair because of circumstances or negative dispositions. Although setbacks and trials shake the very core of our foundations, we must not lose sight of Jesus, who He is and what He did for us and even more so, who we are because He lives inside of us. He came so that we might have life and have it to the overflowing. (John 10:10) He has given us His promise that He will be with us in every situation in life. He promised to carry our burdens so that we don’t have to. We were not made to carry burdens. In every daily situation of life, even when the hour is the darkest, we need to turn to Him in faith.

Let us purpose in our hearts to ENTER and STAY in an intimate relationship with Him where fear, worry, sickness, lack and every other thing that is not of God has no place. Let us seek to experience, practically, the love of Jesus and to know the joy and peace that HE died to give us.

WE LOVE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS- WALLY & JAN

Today’s prayer: Lord, You sprinkle Your blessings over me like, soft, gentle rain. You gladden my heart. Grant in full measure the fullness of Your Spirit. Amen

GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF REVELATION

GLORY TO GLORY
December 24, 2011

GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF REVELATION: “When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (Mathew 16:13-17)
________________________________________________________________________
TO ALL:RECEIVE THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST:
HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY REVELATION
Grace be to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We thank God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of our making request for you All with joy, for your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it.

This is the time of year when our thoughts should be focused on the Gift that God gave us. The birth, life, earthly ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus was and IS GOOD NEWS! Like a man said one time, “If MY sins are forgiven, that is REALLY GOOD NEWS!”

Many of us know of Jesus. We may even pray to Him (usually when we are in some type of mess-thank you God for mercy and grace). We go to church (or not) and sing a hymn or two and believe that we have worshipped Him and met our religious duty toward God, our Creator and Jesus, our Redeemer and Saviour.

TODAY, I want to journey with you to a much higher level of intimacy and relationship with this Jesus of Nazareth. Today, I want you to receive a revelation of Jesus.
In the spirit of the season, our prayer for you is that you will have yourself a MERRY REVELATION.

Let’s go to the scriptures and begin our journey to a deeper, life changing relationship with our Saviour, Redeemer and Brother-Jesus Christ. Consider our text for today.

Throughout the centuries and still today, people argue over who Jesus is. We won’t spend the time discussing all the points of view. Who is this Jesus? HE IS CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD! This is the revelation that Peter got and the one that we MUST get. Notice that Jesus said that Peter did not receive this information through his five senses, but that God the Father had revealed it to him! Peter had been taught about the Messiah all of his life. What’s more, he walked the land with Jesus for three years-day and night. He heard Jesus teach and preach and saw the miracles that were done through His hands-yet in spite of seeing and hearing all of these things, the revelation of WHO and WHAT Jesus was came from God!! This knowledge was NOT arrived at after carefully weighing and considering all of the facts. It was not a result of thinking the whole thing through and arriving at the conclusion that Jesus was in fact the Son of God. It was not a result of desperate circumstances during which one hoped that Jesus was the Son of The Living God. NO—none of those things. GOD Spoke to Peter and said, “Jesus was and is Christ, The Son of the Living GOD”! Each one of us needs to receive this revelation of Jesus-down in the very core of our hearts. EARNESTLY desire, pray for and expect a revelation of who Jesus is! Don’t try to understand it or figure it out-If you do you will miss it! Just receive it! Let God just flood you with the light of Jesus. Now watch this….

Colossians 1:25-29 says this-Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

Paul is saying to us that there was a great mystery which had been hid from ages and generations. This mystery was now made manifest or known to us. Paul said that concerning this mystery, he preached it, he warned every man about it, and that he taught every man about it in all wisdom. WHY?—So that he could present EVERY man perfect (mature) in Jesus Christ. He also went on to say that this work was his life’s labor. He gave his life for this effort. What was it? What was so important? Friends and dear men and women of God, IT WAS AND IS THIS——CHRIST IN YOU!

Now, can you start to see how important the revelation of Jesus is in your life? He is Christ, the Son of the Living God……and He lives in YOU! That revelation ought to change the way you see yourself and others. It ought to change the way you think, talk and act! For example, the Word says that YOU have the mind of Christ.. How should that revelation change your thinking?

Let’s look at another scripture to see how big this is. Colossians 2:2,3,9,10- 2 For my concern is that their hearts may be braced (comforted, cheered, and encouraged) as they are knit together in love, that they may come to have all the abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction of understanding, and that they may become progressively more intimately acquainted with and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly that mystic secret of God, which is Christ (the Anointed One). In Him all the treasures of divine]wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden. For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature]. And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority of every angelic principality and power.

Take some time and meditate on the above verses. I want you to see what you have and who you are IN HIM! Verse 3 says that all the treasures of divine wisdom- comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God and that all of the riches of spiritual knowledge and enlightenment are stored up in Him. Verse 9 further goes on to say that that the whole fullness of the Godhead dwells in Him! Verse 10 then proclaims that YOU are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life ( in Christ YOU too are filled with the Godhead—Father, Son and Holy Spirit–and reach full spiritual stature).

DO YOU SEE THAT ONCE YOU GET A REVELATION OF WHO JESUS IS, YOU WILL REALIZE WHO YOU ARE? WHAT A PRESENT FROM GOD! UNWRAP IT RIGHT NOW AND RECEIVE THE FULLNESS OF JESUS—THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD! OUR PRAYER FOR YOU THIS CHRISTMAS IS WHAT PAUL PRAYED FOR AND MADE HIS LIFE’S WORK A LIFE OF SERVICE TO CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD.

We do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in our prayers. For We always pray to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the deep and intimate knowledge of Him, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), And so that you can know and understand what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength. When you read this you can understand insight into the mystery of Christ. This mystery was never disclosed to human beings in past generations as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles (consecrated messengers) and prophets by the Holy]Spirit. May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the Holy]Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]. May Christ through your faith actually dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth of it; That you may really come to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled through all your being unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen .

We love you and wish you wonderful holiday season-filled with a Merry Revelation of who Jesus is and who you are in Him!

GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF GLORIOUS ROYALTY AND MAJESTY

GLORY TO GLORY
December 12, 2011

GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF GLORIOUS ROYALTY AND MAJESTY: “In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.” (Isaiah 6:1)
________________________________________________________________________
TO ALL WHO WOULD RECEIVE THE REVELATION OF THE INDESCRIBEABLE MAJESTY OF JESUS:

Greetings and the love of Jesus to each of you today! Whatever you are facing, His grace is sufficient for you! Rest today in Him and surrender your total life and heart to the ONE who has never lost a battle!

As I was spending time in the wonderful presence of the Lord this morning, God brought the above scripture to my spirit and mind. Why? Because we have been talking about the need to receive the revelation of Jesus from the Father. The same revelation that Jesus talked to Peter about in Mathew 16:17.
“Then Jesus answered him, Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are you, Simon Bar-Jonah. For flesh and blood [men] have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven.”

How do you see Jesus? I am not talking about in our minds, but how do we see Him deep down in our spirits? For it is this picture and view of HIM that will manifest in our lives.
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: (Proverbs 23:7)

Who and what is Jesus to you and me? The answer to this question is vitally crucial to you and me. You can see what Proverbs 23:7 says.

To some Jesus is still on the cross. To others He is still the baby Jesus, wrapped in swaddling clothes. Still to others He is sitting on the throne just watching us and occasionally responding to our cries for help in certain situations. And still to others He is a loving being that really doesn’t exercise power and authority. The truth and ultimate reality is that we are whatever Jesus is! Why? Because He is in us!!!! Look at the following few verses with me.

“To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory.” (Colossians 1:27) Jesus is in you!
“In Him all the treasures of [divine] wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden.” (Colossians 2:3) If these things are in Him (Jesus) and Jesus is in you, then these things are in and available to you!

And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power]. (Colossians 2:9-10) Can we see what is in US?

“Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to His cross. God disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].” (Colossians 2:14-15)
Jesus victory over Satan was total and complete, then he gave it to us.

“But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ’s victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere, For we are the sweet fragrance of Christ which exhales unto God, discernible alike among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing:” (II Corinthians 2:14-15) Christ always leads us to triumph and we are His sweet fragrance to the saved and the perishing alike.

We will continue here tomorrow. In the meantime, prayerfully meditate who Jesus is in you and who you are in Him. Herein is the birth of victorious living!!

WE LOVE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS- WALLY & JAN

God’s Promise For You Today: YOU have the VICTORY: Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have already defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater than he who is in the world. I John 4:4

GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF THANKSGIVING

GLORY TO GLORY
November 24, 2011

GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF THANKSGIVING: “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”(Psalm 100)
________________________________________________________________________
WE GREET YOU TODAY IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND THANK GOD FOR EACH ONE OF YOU.

10 Basic Blessings You Should Be Thankful For
We Americans are a blessed people, but we are also spoiled. I know I am. I can get flustered over the stupidest things—like when my cellphone doesn’t get a good signal, when a flight is delayed or when my computer takes too long to load a website. Most people in the world don’t have iPhones, can’t afford air travel and don’t have computers. My impatience reveals my ungrateful spirit.
So how can we avoid this virus of selfish immaturity? Thankfulness is the antidote. It melts our pride and crushes our sense of entitlement. It reminds us that everything we have comes from God, and that His mercy is the only reason we are blessed.
As you celebrate Thanksgiving Day, I pray you will invite the Holy Spirit to convict you of any whining. Here’s a list of 10 blessings that many people in the world don’t have. Go over this list and then see if you still have anything to gripe about.
1. Got clean water? The next time you uncap a bottle of water or grab a drink from the tap, remember that one in eight people in the world (that’s 884 million people) lack access to clean water supplies. Millions of women around the world spend several hours a day collecting water. When you take a five-minute shower, you use more water than a typical person in a developing country uses in a whole day.
2. Do you have a bathroom? About 40 percent of the world’s population (2.6 billion people) do not have toilets. Lack of sanitation facilities spreads disease and is a major reason why more than 2 million people die annually of diarrhea.
3. How’s your electricity? The power in my house might be interrupted briefly three times a year because of Florida storms. But 1.6 billion people—a• quarter of humanity—live without any electricity. And, because of unreliable infrastructure, at least 2 billion people on earth don’t have any light at night.
4. Got a roof over your head? One billion people live in slums. That’s almost one-sixth of the world’s population. Of this total, 640 million children live without adequate shelter; they live in cardboard boxes, tin-roofed shacks, one-room mud huts or filthy, crowded tenements. It’s been estimated that 1.4 billion people will live in slums by 2020. Meanwhile here in the United States, between 2.3 to 2.5 million people are classified as homeless.
5. Is there food on your table? In the United States we are battling an obesity epidemic. Yet according to UNICEF, 22,000 children die each day due to poverty. Approximately 790 million people in the developing world are chronically undernourished, and almost 28 percent of all children in developing countries are estimated to be underweight or stunted.
6. Got a stove? In developing countries, some 2.5 billion people use fuelwood, charcoal or animal dung to meet their energy needs for cooking. In sub-Saharan Africa, more than 80 percent of the population depends on these crude, traditional means for cooking, as do over half of the populations of India and China. The really sad part: Indoor air pollution resulting from the use of solid fuels claims the lives of 1.5 million people each year, more than half of them below the age of 5.
7. Got regular income? You may have had to take a pay cut during the recession. But keep in mind that at least 80 percent of humanity lives on less than $10 a day. The world’s average income is about $7,000 a year. Still, only about 19 percent of the world’s population lives in countries with per capita incomes at least this high.
8. Did you go to school? Nearly a billion people entered the 21st century unable to read a book or sign their names. Enrollment data shows that about 72 million children of primary school age in the developing world were not in school in 2005 (and 57 percent of them were girls).
9. Are you generally healthy? Americans face illness like people in other nations—and more than 12 million Americans are battling cancer in any given year. But many of us have access to health care. In the developing world, more than 2.2 million children die each year because they are not immunized. An estimated 40 million people in developing countries are living with HIV/AIDS. Every year there are 350–500 million cases of malaria, with 1 million fatalities, mostly in Africa.
10. Are you free to worship God? More than 400 Christians die for their faith every dayaround the world, and most of these believers suffer in Islamic countries—although the top hot spot for Christian persecution, according to Open Doors International, is the atheist regime of North Korea.
What will you be grateful for this Thanksgiving? In these tough economic times you may feel the urge to complain. Be thankful instead! God calls us to live above this negativity. When we give thanks in all things, God gives us a supernatural attitude adjustment. When we thank God for all He has given us, acknowledging that we don’t deserve His goodness, our grumbling melts into gratitude and our impatience turns to praise.

WE LOVE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS- WALLY & JAN

God’s Promise For You Today: YOUR JAR OF OIL SHALL NOT RUN DRY: “And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.” (I Kings 17:12-16)

GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF REVELATION OF HIM-TWO

GLORY TO GLORY
November 23, 2011

GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF REVELATION OF HIM: “He said to them, But who do you [yourselves] say that I am? Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Then Jesus answered him, Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are you, Simon Bar-Jonah. For flesh and blood [men] have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven.” (Mathew 16;15-17)
_________________________________________________________________________
TO ALL: EARNESTLY DESIRE AND SEEK A REVELATION OF THE REALITY OF JESUS:
Once again we greet you in the name of Jesus and all that is in that name. You know we Christians sometimes use the name of Jesus as something trite and almost without meaning. Look for a moment what Jesus Himself said about what His name meant. “Yes I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM].” (John 14:14) You see that whether in prayer and petitions to the Father or whether we using the name of Jesus, it is presenting all that He is!! Let us always remember that. There is power in the name when truthfully and sincerely brought to bear on each and any situation. When used in faith, the name of Jesus will move mountains. I could stop here today and just let us meditate on the glorious and live changing truth, but I want to share more on the revelation of Jesus in our spirits and our minds.
These two realizations when put together can change every situation in your life and bring the very power of the Almighty God to manifest in all that we do!

Last time we concluded what Paul said about the impact of the revelation of Jesus in his life. But first God just reminded me about the impact of the revelation of Jesus in Peter’s life. Review our scripture for today. Jesus told Peter that God had revealed something to him. What did the Father reveal to Peter? To try to understand all that Christ was, is and will be forever certainly is almost incomprehensible to the mind. That is why the revelation comes through the Spirit and not flesh and blood. But let’s look at one aspect as defined by the Greek word used for Christ.

Peter said “thou art Christ, the Son of the living God.” The word Christ in the Greek is “Christo”. It means anointed. Christ is not Jesus’ last name. The title “Christ” signifies “The Anointed One”. When considering The Anointed One we must also then consider His anointing. While there are many verses referring to the anointing that Jesus had, I want to share two with you.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity], To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound.” (Luke 4:18-19)
and
“How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by the power of the devil, for God was with Him.”

With these scriptures in mind, recall Peter’s declaration that came about of the Father’s revelation to him. Note what Peter then wrote years later about this revelation.
“So that the genuineness of your faith may be tested, your faith which is infinitely more precious than the perishable gold which is tested and purified by fire. This proving of your faith is intended to redound to your praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) is revealed.” (I Peter 1:7)

Two things that we need to see here. First, Peter never forgot the impact of the revelation of Christ to him by the Father. Second, he knew what Paul knew and taught the first Century Church. What was that? Let me give you two more scriptures to powerfully illuminate the tremendous reality of truth that was revealed.

For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes) should dwell in Him permanently. To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory.
(Colossians 1:19,27)

I have some more to share with you on this subject. It is too critical to rush. The revelation of Jesus and who Jesus is in you and who you are in Jesus will change your life in a revolutionary manner. I need a revolution of Jesus in my life. How about you?

WE LOVE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS- WALLY & JAN

GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF REVELATION OF HIM-ONE

GLORY TO GLORY
November 21, 2011

GOD’S COVENANT- A PLACE OF REVELATION OF HIM: “He said to them, But who do you [yourselves] say that I am? Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Then Jesus answered him, Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are you, Simon Bar-Jonah. For flesh and blood [men] have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven.” (Mathew 16;15-17)
_________________________________________________________________________
TO ALL: EARNESTLY DESIRE AND SEEK A REVELATION OF THE REALITY OF JESUS :

Greetings and the love of Jesus to each and every one of you today. Today is very unique. There has never been one like it before and there will never be another one like it. What will we do with this day that the Lord has especially made for you and me? As for me, I want to know through experience who and what Jesus is. Just like Peter, I desire that God would reveal to me the true person of Jesus. For in such a revelation is the true essence of the one that died for me. In that revelation is the true divine knowledge of who Jesus was, is and forever will be. Then I may know who I am in Jesus and who He is in me.

Let’s consider the amazing significance of what Jesus told Peter and what He is saying to us as well. Consider the fact that Peter had walked with Jesus. He had heard Him teach and He had seen Jesus perform many miracles. The dead were raised, the blind saw, the lame walked, lepers were cleansed, the oppressed were set free and on and on….. Yet Jesus said that Peter did not come to a place where he knew for a real fact that Jesus was the Son of the Living God. Really??? How could Peter not know that Jesus was the Son of the Living God after he walked with Him and saw and heard?

Yet, Jesus said no, not through flesh and blood. But then how? Jesus tells us how.
“Flesh and blood (men) have not revealed this to you, but My Father in heaven.”

To put more light on this, let’s look at the definition of a revelation.

“A revelation: something revealed; God’s manifestation of Himself to men, something revealed to man by God.” The Greek word for “revealed” used here is the word “apokalupto”. It means to uncover, to unveil. In the context used here, it means something that is presented to the mind directly; through the Holy Spirit to your born again spirit-to your mind.

We need a revelation from God of who Jesus is, of who He is in us and who we are in Him. Through this revelation comes the eternal purpose for each of us.

Through this revelation each of us will come to know for ourselves through experience God’s love, God’s grace, God’s power, God’s goodness, God’s righteousness God’s wisdom-in essence all that God is in us and for us!

Many still seek to find the power and nature of God in conferences, church meetings, cds, dvds, websites, etc…… Don’t misunderstand, these are all worthy activities to learn about God, but the truth of who Jesus is in you and who you are in Him comes directly from the Father to you. Jesus said that flesh and blood will not reveal who He truly is to you, but His father would!

Many go to conferences here and there to catch the latest wave of God. Many go to healing services here and there. Many repeat confessions about healing, provision, claiming this and that. Many buy the latest Cds, Dvds, books, etc….all outlining the latest methods to get God to do for them. Many who do all of these things never see any results and come to the place where they believe that it must be the will of God to stay sick, broke and defeated. WHY does this happen to sincere Christians? The answer is that they have not received a revelation of who Jesus is-both in Him and He in them.

Let’s look at what Paul said about His own experience in this regard. Look at Galatians 1:11-12. “For I want you to know, brethren, that the Gospel which was proclaimed and made known by me is not man’s gospel [a human invention, according to or patterned after any human standard]. For indeed I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but [it came to me] through a direct revelation given by Jesus Christ (the Messiah).”

We will pick up here tomorrow. Again, I want to emphasize that the activities listed above are good. God sends various preachers and teachers in our lives to help us mature in the things of God. But to walk in all the things that God has provided for us, we must come to the place where Peter and Paul and many men and women of God came to through revelation from the Father.
JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD AND HE IS IN US AND WE ARE IN HIM.
Let us prayerful meditate this reality. If you don’t think that this will change your life in a revolutionary way, starting right now, then you haven’t seen Jesus lately.
All that He is in you!!!!!!!!

WE LOVE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS- WALLY & JAN

GOD’S COVENANT- A CALL TO HIS WORD-THREE

GLORY TO GLORY
November 11, 2011

GOD’S COVENANT- A CALL TO HIS WORD: “It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.” ( John 6:63)
________________________________________________________________________
TO ALL: WALK IN THE WORD OF SPIRIT AND LIFE:

Greetings, love, power and grace to you in the mighty name of Jesus. Last time, we left off with this thought: “The secret to having the promises of God in your life is to immerse yourself in them. Then they will become powerful and effectual in your life.”

Again let us review the Greek word, “Zoe” which is the word used for “life” in our scripture. It means life in the absolute sense, life as God has it, which the Father has in Himself, and which He gave to His Son to have in Himself. It is of this life that men become actual partakers through faith in Jesus. It is the present actual possession of the believer because of the relationship with Jesus and His Word. Simply put,
it is the life of God in Jesus in you.
Let’s take this concept a step farther and we will see a tremendous revelation that will revolutionize our thinking, speech and actions. Many of us try to separate Jesus and the Word of the Living God. We think of Jesus and talk and act one way about Him and think and act towards the Word of God a different way. IN TRUTH THEY ARE THE SAME.

JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD AND THE WORD OF GOD IS    JESUS!
Saying we love Jesus and worship Him and then ignoring or compromising His Word is being double minded.

So that we can see that Jesus is the Word of God, let’s look at John 1:1-5.

“In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. [Isa. 9:6]. He was present originally with God. All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].”

How would we reverence, obey and love the Word of God with all of our hearts if we believed that Jesus was actually the written word? Would we not strive to obey it with all of our being? Would we not believe and receive every word as if it was Jesus speaking to us in our very homes?

Notice the words “life” in the above scripture. They are the word, “Zoe.” The life of God was in His Word and In Jesus! THE LIFE OF GOD IS IN HIS WORD.

The scripture goes on to declare that the Life of God is the LIGHT of men. The word for light used here is “Phos”. It means to shine, or make manifest, to give light. Now lets go a little deeper.

Light requires an organ adapted for its reception. Where the eye is absent, or where it has become impaired from any cause or intention, light becomes useless. Man in his natural state is not capable of receiving spiritual light because he lacks the capacity for spiritual things. (But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated.) (I Corinthians 2:14)

The GOOD NEWS is this; Believers are called the “sons of light” not merely because they have received a revelation from God through Jesus, The Word, but because in the New Birth they have received the spiritual capacity for it.

What can we say to these things? Jesus was and is the Word! The life of God is Him and His Word. Jesus the Hope of Glory is in us. The Word and the life of God is in us. When we are born again, we receive the capacity to receive Jesus (the Word) and all that He is and we receive the capacity to receive and walk in the very life of God. I will end this today the way that I began it. “The secret to having the promises of God in your life is to immerse yourself in them. Then they will become powerful and effectual in your life.”
WE LOVE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS- WALLY & JAN

God’s Promise For You Today: YOUR LIFE: “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; FOR THEY ARE LIFE TO THOSE WHO FIND THEM, AND HEALTH TO ALL THEIR FLESH.” (Proverbs 4:20-22)

GOD’S COVENANT- A CALL TO HIS WORD-TWO

GLORY TO GLORY
October 29, 2011

GOD’S COVENANT- A CALL TO HIS WORD: “It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.” ( John 6:63)
________________________________________________________________________
TO ALL: WALK IN THE WORD OF SPIRIT AND LIFE:

Last time we began to look at the importance of making the Word of God of primary importance in our lives. We must do this if we are walk in the fullness of all that God gave us through the sacrifice of His beloved So, Jesus. In beginning today I am going to make three statements that can our lives from this day forth.

First, God’s Word is not a question mark. We must let His truth fully possess our heart and minds. It must be the final authority in all that we think, say and do.

Second, When God speaks to us through His Word, we must make our minds fit His Words and not the other way around.

Third, TRUST IN THE LORD NO MATTER WHAT YOU FACING. HIS WORD AND PROMISES ARE TRUE. Look at the following scriptures with me.

“Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over my Word to perform it.” (Jeremiah 1:12) The Hebrew word for perform means to do or make-the broadest application. God’s acts and words perfectly correspond, so that what He says, He does and what he does, He has said. THE WORD SAYS IT, I BELIEVE IT AND THAT SETTLES IT! This must be our compromising stand on the Word of the Living God. Hallelujah to the God of Heaven and Earth.

“God is not a man, that He should tell or act a lie, neither the son of man, that He should feel repentance or compunction for what He has promised. Has He said and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken and shall He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19) IF GOD SAID IT, HE WILL DO IT!

We won’t even know who God really is, what is available and how to get it, if we don’t know His Word.

Now let’s return to our scripture for today. Last time we looked at the spirit of the Word of God being His very breath. When we delve into His Word in earnest, it is having the breath of God come over us. What a place to be!!!!! Jesus not only said that His words are spirit, but they are life. Let’s look at the word “life” in the Greek to gain a deeper understanding of what Jesus was saying.

The Greek word for life used here in the word, “Zoe.” It means life in the absolute sense, life as God has it, which the Father has in Himself, and which He gave to His Son to have in Himself. It is of this life that men become actual partakers through faith in Jesus. It is the present actual possession of the believer because of the relationship with Jesus and His Word. Simply put, it is the life of God in Jesus in you. To gain a greater realization of this truth and see for ourselves its impact on our lives, let’s look at John 15:3-11.

“You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you]. Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned. If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [continue in His love with Me]. If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love. I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing.”

The secret to having the promises of God in your life is to immerse yourself in them. Then they will become powerful and effectual in your life.

WE LOVE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS- WALLY & JAN

God’s Promise For You Today: YOU HAVE THE LIFE OF GOD: My son, give attention to my words, incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. (Proverbs 4:20-22)

GOD’S COVENANT- A CALL TO HIS WORD

GOD’S COVENANT- A CALL TO HIS WORD: “It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.” ( John 6:63)
________________________________________________________________________
TO ALL: RECEIVE ALL WALK IN THE WORD OF SPIRIT AND LIFE:

According to John 1:1 Jesus was and is the Word of the Living God. Glory to God, I greet you today in that precious name. I have been anxious to minister along the lines of the revelation that God gave me in Cuba of walking like Jesus. However it seems that God has some things to impart that have priority today. Let’s open our hearts to Him now in the wonderful and mighty name of Jesus.

The word of God must be the most important thing in our lives. In it we will find the very nature and heart of God, His will, His promises, His grace and mercy and His power, as Paul puts it, “to those usward believe.” Studying (not reading), meditating and pouring ourselves into His word will do something to us? What? people ask. It will transform our hearts and minds on the inside of us to the very image of God Himself. The result will be the manifestation of all that God is on the outside of us.

Many people (myself included) want the blessings and promises of God and even expect prayers to be answered without really knowing God- without yearning to be in His presence more than anything in the world. Not knowing God the way we should, will only hinder our pursuit of His hand. The result, some victories, but often defeat, frustration, worry and anxiety and usually health, finance and relationship issues which tend to grind us down and make us weary.

Remember this, we are not fighting for victory but fighting the good fight of faith from a position of victory already won and made available to us all by the blood of Jesus. Through the word we have spirit and we have life. Jesus said so. In our scripture today, Jesus portrays a stark contrast between what the world offers and what the word of God offers us. He said His words are spirit and life. Let’s look at this a little closer look at these vital aspects of our relationship with Jesus.

The Greek word used here and more often in other reference to the spirit in the New Testament is the word, “pneuma” which means a current of air. It is a blast of breath or a breeze. We could say that the word of God is His very breath upon us! Mediatate on that for a little while. What a tremendous reality. I’ll say it again. The word of God is His very breath blowing on us. How could we even ever imagine or contemplate defeat with His breath engulfing us? This one simple truth ought to cause us to want to be in the word at every opportunity.

Look at what Jesus about the Spirit and pay careful attention to the end results.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity, To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound.” (Luke 4:18-19)

Through knowledge of the word, and thinking, acting and talking its truths we can walk in the very same victory because it is the same breath of God on us that Jesus did as he ministered. Look at what Jesus tells us in John 14:12.

“I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father. And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son.” ((John 14:12-13)

Now let’s look at John 8:31-32. “So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. 32. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.”

What is critical to see here is that verse 32 is often taught and quoted out of context. Many put the emphasis on knowing the truth and being free which is important alright, but verse 31 is what makes the knowledge of the truth and the freedom that follows happen. In order to know the truth and be free, we must abide in the Word of Jesus holding fast to His teachings and living in accordance with them, AND………. We will pick up here next time.   Love In Christ, Wally

God’s Promise For You Today: YOU have a hiding place: You are my hiding place from every storm of life; you even keep me from getting into trouble! You surround me with songs of victory. (Psalm 32:7) NOTE: Today, now, enter into your hiding place and songs of victory. You have victory in Jesus.
